Offline Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 533 | What to say, what to say.. Hm, I think the best way of looking at Phantom Rouge is as a throwback to the Plays that went along with the 1999 anime. That, and the sole purpose of the movie is mainly for some simple fun. ('Oh~ I know THAT character! :D And dat one too, hahaha!' etc., etc.) The movie as a whole - especially the middle segment of it - could have been executed a lot better. Offline Joined: Dec 2010 Posts: 172 | those who haven't seen the movie , now would be the perfect time to see some killua illumi character development..specially watch the movie before the next sunday episode..( i think..or is it ?) story was pretty average , former spider 4 could have been handled better , animation was better as you aspect from a movie episode.. Offline Joined: Jul 2013 Posts: 141 | 7.5 out of 10. I was fairly disappointed. Not that 7.5 is bad, but for Hunter x Hunter standards, this movie lacked quite a bit. It also had far too many cliches, which is not what Hunter x Hunter is really known for. The villain was generic garbage, as was his sisters' character, and I just didn't really get all that into it. Favorite scenes mostly included Illumi, and he didn't even make a literal appearance throughout the entire movie. so it's kinda sad that he was one of the highlights for me. Hisoka of course makes everything interesting as well. That's about it for me, though. The rest was kind of lacking. |

Kurapika became a Hunter to take vengeance on the Class-A crime group Phantom Troupe who massacred his clan for their unique eyes. The eyes of the Kurta clan turn scarlet in times of anger or emotional agitation and are considered the most beautiful treasures in the world. Kurapika continues to pursue the Phantom Troupe but an unknown party has stolen his 'scarlet eyes'. With the help of Gon, Killua and Leorio, Kurapika' s life was saved. Naruto episode 469 english sub. I'm big fan of animation animes. I love how music just is the pure soul of that anime. This anime online seriously is incredible. My favorite anime of this director, and that's saying something!
